PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Rationale/Needs:

The project is aimed at ITALSAMPLE which, following a needs assessment conducted by company management, needs to intervene on various aspects to streamline processes. This will be achieved through the reasoned use of digital technologies regarding accounting aspects, as well as procurement and the management of relationships with customers and suppliers. These objectives form the basis for permanently improving organizational performance and defining new process standards, transforming these approaches into a competitive differentiator. Efficiency and rationalization at ITALSAMPLE inevitably involve the adoption of a structured business management system centered on the digitalization of production processes and a focus on collaboration and communication policies within the

workgroup itself. Based on these premises, the project—intended as a support tool for implementing workers’ skills—falls within the “Smart Manufacturing” scope – Trajectory 21. DATA VALORIZATION THROUGH DIGITAL SOLUTIONS, as it aims to develop customized data-driven solutions based on ITALSAMPLE’s needs, designed to feed systems and solutions in the field of management control. Furthermore, the project is consistent with the SRSvS, as it promotes the following within the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3): digitalization within business processes and the simultaneous development of new skills. The development of digital and technical skills in data analytics and ERP software will allow for: -preparing data analysis to extract predictive information -using information to support the definition of service planning, procurement, and logistics.

Training Objectives:

The long-term strategic and training objective for Italsample is the total conversion of production processes toward digitalization. This is also, but not exclusively, due to the introduction of new technologies that allow work phases to be carried out effectively and efficiently through resource optimization. To achieve this, this project proposal aims to: – provide employees with advanced knowledge of digital technologies used in the advanced management of production, logistics, administration, and marketing processes, as well as best practices for their implementation and management in a synergistic and integrated way across all company departments; – develop employee skills in assessing risks and opportunities associated with the digitalization of business processes and in defining strategies and action plans for their implementation to collaborate synergistically within their workgroup; – develop the ability of employees to monitor and manage data and information produced by the digitalization of business processes, in order to improve the quality of decisions and the ability to forecast company performance. This project will therefore be an opportunity to: improve the fluidity of internal processes through the use of digital technologies, the identification of current critical issues, and the implementation of corrective actions and appropriate technologies; promote cross-functional skills for digitalization governance, enabling employees to collaborate with different departments to ensure coordinated and integrated management of business processes and to define and/or implement innovative technological solutions to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Type of Intervention:

To meet the identified needs, the project includes 3 training interventions involving a total of 8 employees and 3 workshops involving the entire company workforce.

Specifically, the training interventions are structured as follows: – process analysis for the selection and implementation of the most suitable technological solution, a 40-hour intervention aimed at digitalizing the management control system to obtain a flexible and complete overview on which to base business decisions; – development of a responsible procurement system, a 40-hour intervention that will define the logistics chain through technological sophistication processes; – innovation in CRM: implementation strategies, an intervention providing 60 hours where learners will learn methods to use the company CRM in an organized, fluid, and efficient way. All training activities, up to a maximum of 50% of the total hours of each individual intervention, will be carried out via synchronous distance learning (FAD). The workshops, each lasting 8 hours, will involve the entire company workforce on the topics of introducing technologies into the organizational environment and how good corporate communication can strengthen the team through their use. Specifically, these will cover: – The value and quality of “sustainable” corporate communication; – Digital connections: strengthening the team through technology; – Exploring digital potential: a guide to transformation.
